How It Works
- Opt in to Rewards: The referrer must be the primary holder of an eligible residential electricity or gas account and enable Mercury Rewards.
- Get the link: The unique referral link is available in Rewards through the Mercury App or My Account.
- Friend joins: The friend opens a new Mercury account through that link.
- Service stays active: The referred service or product must be activated for at least one month.
- Points are applied: Mercury applies 3,000 points to the referrer’s Rewards balance for the successful referral.
Rewards and Expiry
The current Rewards page shows these examples:
- 1,500 points for a $5 account credit
- 3,000 points for a $12 account credit
- 1,500 points for a Free Power Day, subject to electricity-account eligibility
Rewards can vary by customer. Under the Mercury Rewards terms, points earned now expire 12 months after they are applied.
